Oyster Supper

This weekend, Austin and I went up to "the farm" (aka my Grandma's house) for the big oyster supper!  I personally have never been up for it before but apparently it is a Walklet family tradition that has been going on for over 50 years.  It was so good to see everyone (well about half of everyone) and spend the weekend away from the city.  There were 19 people there (if everyone in my family came, there would have been 34, so a relatively small gathering), a gallon of oysters, ten pounds of potatoes, 2 bags of shrimp, a bunch of green beans, cranberry sauce, beets, irish soda bread, 10 pounds of chicken salad, cole slaw, and about 8 different types of desserts...so it was really good!  This was Austin's first time up to the farm too so we explored the haunted barn and took a few pictures of it and the cows (including the 16 new calves).  We'll definitely have to go up there again in the summer so we can play outside and use the pool.  Here's a preview of the pictures to come!
