the problem with socks

...is that there are two of them!  I've been knitting this (single) sock for the past couple of weeks as I watch TV, and it's finally done...and it even fits!  I love big, comfy, knit socks, so I figured I should have a go at it myself.  Now I just have to do the second one.

I am dying to try my hand at socks! What pattern did you use? Was it terribly difficult? I am worried about the heel flap!

Andrea, you should definitely give it a shot! They are not nearly as hard as I thought they would be. I just used the pattern that came on the back of the sock yarn honestly and it turned out fine. I think they're all pretty much the same. The only thing I did differently was I made a size smaller than I thought I needed and that worked out well. No one wants baggy socks. For the heel flap, I looked up videos on youtube to see how to do it! Let me know how it goes!
